First Visit

Your first appointment will consist of taking a full mouth set of digital x-rays, a comprehensive exam and a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, not knowing your dental treatment needs prior to the first visit, or a complex treatment plan will require a second appointment to provide treatment on another day. Often times we are able to schedule a hygiene (cleaning) appointment along with the first visit. Please ask Tonya or Lin at the time you schedule your first visit.

Please bring these to your first visit:

  • Any x-rays you have from your previous dentist
  • A list of medications you are presently taking
  • Your current dental insurance card to help quickly process any claims

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may require you to take an antibiotic prior to dental treatment (i.e. joint replacements within the last two years, previous heart bacterial infections, stents or shunts placed in the last 6 months).

X-Rays

If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional pictures are necessary, they can be taken at our office.
