I started my career out of high school. A friend who is a dentist asked me to work for him as he trained me on the job. After working with him I knew working as a dental assistant is what I really wanted to do. I received my Radiology certification in 1976. I took 15 years off to have my five fantastic kids, and then came here to work with Dr. Hansen and Dr. Archibald for the last 16 years. In 2010 I received my EFTA certification to be a more qualified assistant. I also received a certificate from the OAGD (Oregon Academy of General Dentistry) and the AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry) for surgical assisting during an implant MaxiCourse in June 2012. We all enjoy working together, we’re like family, hence we have all been here for so many years. I truly love working with our wonderful patients. It is so rewarding when we can literally put a SMILE back on their face.
